Our restaurant is located off the main square of Hoorn, Roode Steen (West 70).

La Sfida was born on January 2017 from the desire of two chefs from Puglia to bring their professionalism and great passion for Italian cuisine to The Netherlands.

That is exactly what the name of the restaurant originates from: La Sfida means The Challenge and symbolises the culinary challenge sought outside of our own country Italy.

Our concept is based on our wish to have our clients taste both classic and modern Italian dishes during a culinary journey.

Our menu holds a broad selection of dishes that we prepare with utmost accuracy, amongst which fresh pasta (ravioli, tagliolini, orecchiette, tortelli), all strictly homemade.

Dinner includes a buffet of Italian antipasti and is topped with a dessert fantasy.

Not to be overlooked is our broad selection of wines, from our own region Puglia as well as from all other parts of the Italian peninsula.
